  • L1B Extension Denial.. Internal Job Movement. What's right?

Folks need help and best advice..

My L1B extension at consulate in India got denied (not clearly approvable) last month, I flew back to US immediately and company is filing L1 individual.
I recently got an offer from internal position for "Technical Product Manager" located at different city in US. There is no change in skills and duties are going to be performed by utilizing same specialized knowledge.

Will it be safe to join new position and file L-1 individual under new Title? What is the risk and what should be the appropriate right step to get my extension approved?

    Please suggest.

To file L1 individual a person need to work for the same company for 1 year offshore in last 3 years - Do you qualify for that. Considering you are already on L1B in USA, I doubt on that.
