Getting EAD using 12th Standard certificate (India)

My wife couldn't complete her engineering graduation due to personal reasons but she has 12th certificate.
We both are in US now and I am in L1B visa status and she is in L2 Visa
Can she apply EAD using her 12th standard certificate ? or she need to complete GED test in US , before she applies for EAD .
And also does US government accepts 12th certificate for call centers or any other job.

For EAD, she should be fine with the 12th standard certificate.
