  • l1a extension through premium processing

We filed l1a extension through premium processing, we got rfe and responded more a week back. The status has still not changed. has anyone faced such delays.
attorney says filed on 11/19 - does uscis consider same day as response received or will it take time?

      L1A an L2 extension

      Hi guys,

I and my family were issued L1A and L2 visas respectively in July 2018 for 5 years (valid till 2023) multiple entry with petition expiry date on it. However our blanket L1 petition expires in Jan 2019 and so does our I94.

I wish to know if can I travel to my home country which issued the visa alone and try to secure the visa and try to extend my family visa in US? Or is it better for all of us to travel back.
In case I choose to get extension here in US for all of us, would the previous visa still hold?

      Thank you for your time.

      Regards
      P.

Since you are already in USA, you don't need to get a new visa. Just get your petition renewed within USA only. No one need to travel for visa/petition purpose.

The current visa will still be good with the new approved petition.

It is 15 days now and no response from them. I called uscis and they only want the immigration team or attorney to call them
          not sure what to do.

            11/19 to 11/29 is not 15 days.

when we filed the original extension.. uscis case status for l1 showed 10 days after actual received, though it went together

              l1 received on 30th
              l2 on 20th
              ead on 20th

              that's the reason for tension.
