My fiancee is working with an MNC and the company has promised to move her to US on L1. But it looks like the process wont complete till Jan 2008. So I thought may be I can bring her here on H4 in Nov and once the L1 visa processing is complete, get it stamped in India or Canada or Mexico.
a) What are the steps in changing the visa? Should I just apply for Change of Status and get it stamped in Canada or Mexico as TCN? or Is it necessary to go back to India for stamping?
b) Are there any complications with H4 to L1 visa transfer or change of status?
