L2 to L1

I am in US on L2 visa (my husband works in company A) which is valid till 2009.
Can you please answer my queries below:

1. Can my company (Company B) apply for 'change of status' to L1 for me?

2. Once it is approved, is it required for me to travel back to India for stamping in order to work on L1?

3. In case L1 is rejected during stamping at India, can I come back to US on L2?

-----Its not going to be a change of status, intead company B can apply for fresh L1.

Suggesstion : Work for Company B on L2, Talk to Company B.

Thanks for the reply.

My company does not allow to work on L2. So that option is ruled out.

What is difference between L1B blanket & L1B individual? Which one is better?
How much time does it take to get stamping in each case?
