I work for IT company in India.
My employer has filled a Premium L1 visa.
As i suppose the 1st week of October.
I have query.
I have gone through many Immgration sites and i have seen that for L1 visa.
They say that"The L-1 is available to a foreign national who, within the three
years immediately prior to entering the U.S., has been employed
abroad for at least one continuous year and is now seeking temporary
admission to the U.S. to be employed by a parent/branch/affiliate/subsidiary
of that foreign employer in a managerial or executive capacity, or in a position requiring specialized knowledge.
" ...........My query is that i will be completing one year in my existing company on 30 Oct 2007.
So what type of situation may arise...
But in other Sites i have also seen them saying that "There is No Annual Cap any more".
Please help me out as i am bit confused that Does still the 1yr stay in the Company is still a rule or It has been recently not considered.
