Hi,
I will be traveling to India in April for abt 2 weeks and have to get a new visa stamp (as my L1 got expired and got a new one - L1A). The problem is that the L1-A approval notice has 2 characters missing in my firstname at the end. My attorney has opened a case with USCIS for almost > 2 months but no response so far. Attorney says since other docs has correct name, it is ok to appear for the visa stamp interview at the consulate in India. Is that ok ? Will I run into problems ? Should I confirm with USCIS or with consulate in India ?
Will greatly appreciate any response.
Thanks
Sarav
