About Dependents in L2 VISA

Dear Sir

I would like to know eligibility of L2 VISA for my parents apart from my spouse and 2 children. I am working with an american company and may get company transfer to USA for 3 years on L1 VISA. I would like to know is my parents (mother & father) are allowed to stay with me along with my spouse and children. Please reply and help me.

What type of VISA needed for my parents?

Your parents can not qualify for L2. They may get visitors visa, but they can't stay in US for 3 years on visitors visa.

In shorts, parents can't be considered dependents in US.
