Having L1B stamped with H1B Approved petition -- applying for L1A

I am holding & working on L1B visa for COMPANY A which is valid till July 2009 with I-94 valid till July 2009.
I have applied for H1B through COMPANY B which has petition approved in May 2008.

Can i stay on L1B with COMAPANY A till July 2009 as it is valid and then go back to home country and come on H1B Visa with COMPANY B?

Now COMPANY A is appling for my L1A in Sept 2008 with cancelation of L1B. WILL MY H1B also get cancled with L1A stamping? If not if i go for L1A will i have to face any awkward questions from consulate and at the POE?

I am in situation where i have L1B valid till July 2009 with H1B petition approved. And now my company A wants me to apply for L1A due to some legal issues. What is the best i can do right now. Please help me?

No. It is fresh H1 not with COS.



I also have question that if my spouse have L2 Blanket EAD and i convert my L1B to L1A, will my spouse L2 Blanket EAD will be invalid? Is it the case that again i have to apply for L2 EAD on L1A dependent?

L2 remains the same and the EAD if valid is still valid.
