Hello,
I'm on L1B working working for "A" in the US and it's valid till Sept 09. This year I applied for H1 through "B" woth COS from L1 to H1. It got selected in lottery and also got approved yesterday.
I have the following questions:
a) I do not want to work with company "B" on H1. Now that my H1 is approved, can I transfer my H1 to another company before Oct 01 2008 ? I think "yes". Please confirm.
b) I want to keep my L1 even after Oct 01 2008. This means I have go out of the US before Oct 01 and come back after Oct 01 with my L1 and new I94.
I'm planning to do so, in the meanwhile, if I transfer my H1 to another company on Sept 15 and also if I travel of Sept 28, will this cause any problem to my H1B transfer ?
Please let me know.
