I'm planning to do leap frog to save my L1B visa. I'll come back by end of Oct.
Could you tell me what are the documents required to be produced before the POE officer ?

Will they question me about my H1B ?

For the last time, L1b and H1b are different petitions and the POE officers are not concerned about other petitions but the one that you are using to enter unless one has a pending GC which can complicate things for some status entry like F1,B1 etc.
