Chances to get new i94 date on reentry to US

Hi,

My L1B visa and I94 are expiring in oct 2008. I am planning to visit canada in mid september.

Are there any chances that I will get a new I94 date extended beyond my visa expiry?

What is your petition expiration date? How long is your visit to Canada? In general, visits of less than 30 days does not get one a new I-94.

Does your statement on min 30 days hold good for those going for leapfrog to resolve L1 H1 COS issue?

Wil I get a new I 94 if am there for just 1 day with my Visa and Petition both valid only for 3 more months after oct 1st?

what are the quetions that are generally asked at the Point of entry to get a new I 94

It depends on the POE officer. Some will get convinced for a COS issue and some don't. It is a risk one has to undertake.
