Hi,
So I am a Canadian citizen working and living in the states on a L1B visa. In the past I was denied a TN visa and it has been difficult to cross the boarder since then. Last year I got a L1B and I have only crossed once since then and it was really straight forward (first time crossing without being pulled into secondary in ages). My L1B has over 2 years left on it.
I wanted to go visit my friends back in canada for new years eve (5-6 days), and I had the following questions:
1) Do I have anything to worry about crossing the boarder?
2) Should I surrender my I94 for my trip to Canada? It is a multiple entry visa and I have been told by others with a similar visa that I do not have to.
3) Am I correct in assuming that it is very uncommon that a valid visa gets revoked at the boarder?
Thanks for the advice,
-Robert
