Hello,
I have a question regarding my sisters visa issue.
Scenario:

Currently she is on L2 visa and working using her EAD (which is valid till Aug 27th)
Recently she went to India and she got her I94 only until Sep 27 2009 since her passport was expiring
So now she had renewed her passport and received the new passport also.
She has requested for an I-94 extension through my Brother-in-law's company.
She is planning on applying for EAD extension by Apr 27th (since she can file only 4months before it expires (Aug 27th)
Apart from this her company also filed for her H1B under regular processing last week.
Question:

1. Since her EAD expires on Aug 27th, And if her H1B is approved, what is the best way to cover the gap between EAD expiration and H1B start?
2. If she didn't get her new i-94 by April 15th, Can she go to Canada to get new I-94? Can she travel outside the country when her H1B is under processing?
3. On what basis are they giving the EAD?
4. Can she apply for a EAD renewal on Apr 27th with the existing I-94(valid till Sep27th), and send the new I-94 later on, when she got an extension?
