L2 Extention..Urgent

Hii...

I am currently in USA in my L2 Visa.
And both my husband and my visa will expire on december 2009...
But my husband got an I-94 stamped till jan 2011..
So i would like to know whether we both can stay in US till jan 2011 or have to go back to our native country for extending our L1 and L2 visa..His company wants him to stay in US even after december 2009..So should i have to go back to my native country for my L2 extention ( my I-94 will also expire on dec 2009 )...Or can i do the extention from US.

Any help is deeply appreciated.

You should have asked L1 employer to file for an extension of L1 + L2 together.
Since your husband already got extended I-94 he can continue staying in US until its expiry.

--As of now, you need to file for a L2 extension within US.
--You dont need to go outside US for an L2 extension. Once you get a new I-94 you cannot continue your stay even after visa expiry.
--Both of you need a new stamping only if you are going out of US and VISA has expired.
