L1A - Green card process help need ?

Hi,

Currently I am in a company A on L1-A visa, I applied H1B through a company B and my H1 got approved. I haven't received the documents yet, but company B informed that they applied with COS.

I want to continue with my company A on L1-A as my company A is ready to process my Green Card with EB1 category.

What are the things I should follow legally to keep my current L1-A status so that I can apply for GC using company A ?

Leave the country and return back on L1 visa to get back to L1 status and keep working with the L1 employer. That is the best and quickest way to get back to L1. Otherwise, any employment with the L1 employer beyond the effective "Valid From" date on your H1B approval notice is illegal.
