L1 petition for company owners

i am from pakistan. I am 25 years old boy and running a small textile export business in pakistan.

Sir i would like to know that can i apply for a l1 petition as an owner of the company. I am doing business since last 5 years.

please also advised me if i have a f1 student visa, so can i switch to the l1 catogary while in the us.
