  • Current Lb1 (individual) and new Blanket L1B

I am on Lb1 (individual) valid up to April 19th 2010. My company is filing blanket L1B for me. As these days USCIS is known to ask so many questions which are it difficult to answer, my company is filling blanket petition to the US Consulate in Canada as opposed to USICS. My appointment is on March 08th 2010.
My questions is if my new blanket visa is denied, will I be able to enter US and work until the validity of current visa which April 19th 2010 ?
Please let me know, any information on this will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks !!!

    Yes, of course.

Yes, as long as your current L1 individual visa is not cancelled for any reason by the consulate.

        Thanks for the info.
My current visa would still be valid, so is there any chance that consular officer would cancel the valid visa ?

Not unless there is a valid reason to do so (Example: any criminal offense).
