Travel During L2 Extension in Process

I am Savan

I have valid L1 Visa Stamp on passport till June 2021. My Family also has valid Visa Stamp on passport till June 2021.

I got L1 extension approved in last month. I have valid I-797A form which says I have live in US till March 2021.

My family's L2 extension in under process. (Wife and Daughter)

But we need to travel to Indian in next month (May).

Can we travel?

I understand that L2 extension application will get abandoned.

But I want to know that, Can my family re-enter in united states as I am having valid L1 status without any problem?

I would say, Consult an attorney.

The point is by abandoning their L2 extension application (539), they might get unauthorized stay since their I94 expiry date & hence might face issue while returning.
