  • Preferred language of interview for L1/L2

We have applied for visa interview for L1 and L2 visa for me and my spouse. We wanted to select English for my interview and Hindi for my wife as she is not very comfortable with English. During appointment booking, there was only one option to select preferred language. Hence have selected English.

Is there a way we can select two different language if we have booked a family appointment? Is there a way we can request for a translator for my wife during interview?

Or would it be okay if I act as a translator for her?

    Thank you

Yes, you should be able to get a Hindi translator easily at any of the US consulate in India. Don't worry.

I myself have acted as translator for my kid once before 10-11 years.
