  • Entering US with pregnancy

    Hi,
My company plans to send me to US on L1 visa for long term. My wife would get L2 visa. She is 5 months pregnant, will there be any problem in getting visa due to this? Will there be any problem entering US with 6 months pregnancy? Are there any immigration laws that will prevent her from entering US?

    Thanks for the help.

No issues at all from immigration side.
Make sure you have good insurance to cover her.

      Hi,

As mentioned there is no such restriction from immigration point of view.
But make sure that you have a Letter from the Doctor that it is safe for her to Fly - as it is asked by some of the airlines for international travel.
Secondly- make sure that you have a insurance cover for her-when you are in US (which i think will be provided by your company)

      Thanks and Regards,
      Abhay

No there wont be any probs. But make sure she has to fly before 8 months.
I think might need docters letter to show to airline.
