Interview scheduled at a different Consulate then one in DS-160

Hi All,

I am appearing for L1-A Blank Visa interview tomorrow. Due to unavailability of interview dates at local Consulate I had to schedule interview at a different Consulate.

While filing DS-160, I selected Toronto as the Consulate but booked Visa Interview appointment at Calgary Consulate.

Will this be a problem? Has anyone else done similar thing in past?

For anyone reading in future -

Going to a different consulate then the one present in DS-160 didn't pose any challenge for me. Not sure if its allowed as per process or not. At least in my case it didn't throw any surprise.

It depends USITIS,

Canada & USA both have same first language (i.e. English) - hence its not a problem.

However for applicants where local language is different & applicant carrying documents in local language it won't work & hence suggested to go to local embassy only.
