Hi
My wife apppeared for a L2 Visa interview at the chennai consulate on the 11th of Feb. The consular immigration officer took her passport and also gave her a blue 221(g) form with the option: Your petition details are not updated in the PIMS database. She also told my wife that the PIMS verification process would take a week and we would get the stamped passport.
It has been over 2 weeks now and still we have not received the passport. We have tried querying the consulate directly and have got no clear response except to wait.
Have any of you been through the same boat before either for a H or L dependent or primary applicant visa? How long does it usually take for this PIMS verification to complete?
