L2 stamping question

Hi guys,
I had a question on my wife's L2 stamping . We both are currently at USA and we are all done with the I-94 and petition extensions. This means we both are pending stamping if we are to re-enter USA.

Now,there is a need for my wife to visit India without me .Can she get her L2 stamping done without my presence ?My understanding is that,this can be done
but i would like a confirmation from someone with a similar experience.

Sure. She doesn't need you to get her L2 stamped. Youre L1 visa is not important. Your extended L1 petoition is what is required.

Thanks Shervin. Before closing this thread, just one more question. Is there any probability that the stamping may get delayed or "god forbid" gets rejected?

That depends. Make sure she carries all the required documents. If your extended petition is not in the PIMS database, it might take an additional 10 days. If the case goes into administrative processing, then it may take it's own course of time.
