Hi - I currently hold a L1-B visa which expires in April 2021. I was promoted to a Manager position in August 2018. Due to unavoidable circumstances, I had to take a temporary break from the company in February 2019. I am supposed to resume work in a Manager position in August 2019 i.e. approximately 6 months after I left.
I applied for a L1-A visa in June 2019 but unfortunately my application was put under administrative processing (AP). The Consulate is yet to respond on their decision on my application.
I was wondering whether I am able to travel and enter the USA with my current L1-B visa as I wait for a decision from the Consulate after they are done with the administrative processing. Will this be an issue at the port of entry?
I recall that I was able to travel and enter the US in October 2018 (when I was a Manager) using my L1B visa without any issues.
Your opinion/advise will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
