L1A Blanket Appointment

I have my L1A Blanket appointment scheduled for late September, but on Sunday when I was scrolling through the cgifederal site I saw an earlier appointment date. I didn't reschedule the appointment as I wanted to consulted my immigration team. Now that they've given a green flag for me to reschedule, but when I've checked only to see that appointment was taken. I have two questions.
1. I've noticed a statement reading that the consulate appointments gets updated every week. Does this happen on any particular day, friday, Saturday or Sunday? Any particular timeframe?
2. Because then I've continuously logged into my account every one hour to see updated slots, my account has been locked out citing suspicious reasons. Though it'll get unlocked after 72 hours, is this something I need to worry.
