L1 VISA Holder-Getin married in India.Can I book interview for my fiance in advance?

Hi Experts - I must say this forum is very helpful with many FAQs. Thanks to everyone !
Question - I am currently in USA for 1 Year with L1 A VISA. Getting Married in India during Dec2019. Can I book / take an appointment for my finance well in advance so that she can appear for L2 VISA interview immediately after the wedding so that she can travel back with me.

I just want to check if she needs to be married already while opting for the interview slot OR she can do it in advance keeping wedding date in mind. She will attend the interview once she is married for sure. Also, advice how long does it usually take to get the L2 VISA ? Thanks in advance

Yes, you can take appointment in advance.

Your partner need to be legally married at the time of interview & both of you should be able to provide proof of marriage during interview.
