EAD validity in Primary is Laid off

I wanted to ask this for my relative:

The primary applicant has L1-B visa and the spouse has EAD. What happens to spouse's EAD if the primary is laid off?

Will EAD still be valid for the spouse (for the duaration it was originally approved)?

The EAD is valid only as long as the dependent remains in valid L2 stautus. When L1 goes out of status, L2 automatically goes out of status.
