L1B pettisioner and current employer different

Hi, I have worked for company A in offshore more than 7 years. Working for company B from past 15 months. Onshore of company A is looking for applying L1B and I am eligible since i have one continuous year in past 3 years. Now i have the below questions which VO might raise during interview what should be my answers.

1. Why is pettisioner and current employer is different.
2. Once VISA is over where will you work as you are not working currently in offshore.

1. Why is pettisioner and current employer is different.

I doubt that Company A can file for your L1B until you join them. L1 visas are for current employees only & not for future employee (like you join after you get your visa).

2. Once VISA is over where will you work as you are not working currently in offshore.

I guess you mean once you complete 5 years in USA on L1B visa, then you'll have to USA, where you work doesn't matter.
