L2 Extension

Hi all and happy thanksgiving!

I am a L2 visa piggy backing hubby's L1. Our attorney's filed premium our extension and EAD renewal I-539 and I-765 on the 16th of October. Hubby's was approved immediately and mine is still in the process. I expedited my case based on financial loss, i just started a new job opening 20+ jobs for the local community and sent in our mortgage payments, car payments and medical bills for support etc. Expedited on 11/22, emailed documentation the same day and USCIS received info on 11/26. Our case is through Laguna Niguel. Everything for me expires December the 3rd... can any one share any news on their case similar to mine? Last time, mine took 7 months to go through without a expedite so this time I am really putting all my energy and positive thoughts in to being positive and have a successful outcome.

If your L2 visa is still valid - you can simply move out of country (go Bahamas, Mexico, Canada) & come back ... you do not need to wait for I539 anymore.

I-765 cannot be expedited - but if filed together along with L1's 129, then you should expect the get response almost same time for your I-765.
