L1-A Lay Off Situation- URGENT Help!

I am on L1-A AOS status with valid AP/EAD combo card. My L1-A expires in May-2020 and AP/EAD expires in Dec-2020. Due to economical uncertainty I have been informed that I am being laid off. My I-485 GreenCard interview was conducted back in May-2019 however still have not received the GC as priority date is not current. I am an Indian citizen. Please advise on below queries:

1) As my EAD, I-140 have been approved and I-485 is in process- can I continue to live legally in USA until I receive my GC?

2) Providing I find a new employment- can I transfer my I-485 process, EAD and I-140 to a new employer? Do I have any grace period that I will have to find an employment?

1. Yes you can.
2. No. EB1C (I am assuming that is the category under which your I140 was filed) is for internal transfer of managers. As such you will not meet the requirements with your new employer.

Many Thanks for your quick response. Two more follow-up questions.
1) Basically I am on I-485 approved but AOS pending status under L1-A. I have a valid EAD+AP combo card. My question- can I continue to lawfully stay in USA without having any sort of employment?
2) If I find a new employer quickly- can I transfer my EAD and ongoing GC process?
