Can someone please help me with an answer?

My L1A petition is approved. Am postponing the interview considering the current Covid situation. My petition was approved in Jan 2020. Is there any validity period for the approval?

Validity should be mentioned in your petition .. how long it has been approved for (usually they approve for 3 yrs first). So you can go for interview in the validity period.
