L2 EAD to H1

Hi

Currently i am working in EAD(L2) as W2 consultant and i have also filed an H1 on April 2010 thru Employer A

If my H1 get approved do i need to immediately quit my current job or i can wait till i get a project through Employer A

Please advice.

If H1B gets approved, then your status will change to H1B effective Oct 1st and you can no longer work on EAD. You will need to join the H1B employer and get paid from oct 1st to maintain yur H1B staus (Otherwise you will go out of status on H1B).
