In the view of recent exemption granted to the Presidential proclamation, I believe I am eligible to apply for an expedited appointment. My past appointment was cancelled as the consulates began closing back in March, 2020. I have reached out to the folks at Embassy Customer Service where I was advised to check on booking a regular appointment post which I can request for an expedited appointment. I am posting this to know if there are more such cases at the forum. If so, was anyone successful in getting a regular appointment booked ? I have been trying to book a regular appointment for Chennai Consulate but to avail no success.
