L2 EAD Renewal

My L1 and my spouse L2 has the validity till August 2021. My Spouse EAD has expired and we applied for renewal. Since our Visa is expiring, is there a possibility for his EAD to be approved for next 6 months.

EAD is not related to VISA.VISA is needed only to enter US.
If your L1A ped is till Aug 2021, he must be able to renew his EAD till aug 2021

Ideally, your spouse's EAD extension could have been applied for once the EAD was within the 180-days-to-expire bracket. I did that for my spouse and got it extended before the previous one expired.
EAD is granted for maximum 2 years at a time. If visa is expiring before that, the renewed EAD is issued based on Visa expiry date.
So, to answer your question, you can definitely apply for EAD extension.
