  • L1B Blanket Visa - Not employed with the firm at the moment

    Hi,

My previous firm has decided to apply for my L1B Blanket Visa due to a business requirement, however since I am not currently with the same firm, how do I present myself at the interview? Are there any resources that I could use to explain why I am not employed with the firm that is applying for my visa? As per L1 rules, I am okay, but thinking about how to convince the interviewer.

    Any and all tips welcome!

As long as you can prove and show that you worked with the firm for atleast an year in the last 3 years ... You should be good to go !

But be prepared for more grilling

It will be risky to pretend to VO that you'll join the employer if you get the visa.

Better get the offer letter from your previous employer's USA entity.
