Hey Guys,
I am going to India for my L-1 stamping at the New Delhi consulate this month. My employer is a decent Indian IT company but my actual work location is at a client's office (this was mentioned in my L-1 extension petition, that got approved).
I have asked my employer to give me an employment letter (which is a recommended document to be carried along to the interview). My question is should the letter mention explicitly that I work at a client location? There was no place that I mentioned this while filling DS 160 because in both the 'Present Work' and 'Temporary work visa Information' section, it asked for employer and not client details
Also in some forums, it has been recommended that the candidate should carry the unemployment wage report, financial returns of the employer and also information about other people employed with the company. I talked to my employer and they said they don't give this information to their employees. My question is are these documents really necessary?
Appreciate your responses on this
