Need clarification on Visa waiver program for L1A/L2A Blanket

Hi All,

I just wanted to confirm if the L1A and L2 blanket visas are going to be a part of recently announced visa interview waiver program.

Hi Member,

As per my knowledge No.. Please see below announcement by DOS.

This new authorization applies to travelers applying for F, H-1, H-3, H-4, non-blanket L, M, O, P, Q, and academic J visas who were previously issued any type of visa, if they are applying for a visa in their country of nationality or residence.

waive the in-person interview requirement for certain temporary employment nonimmigrant visa applicants who have a petition approved by the U.S.

So as per above statement, only Non blanket L petitions that filed with USCIS are eligible for Interview waiver.
