Work from India for 2 Weeks while Employed in US on L1A Visa

I need your help to understand if I am allowed to work from India for 2 weeks while employed in US on L1A Visa.

I am planning to travel to India for 4 weeks - 2 Weeks holiday and 2 Weeks Work from Home. I would return to US after 4 weeks.

Pl suggest if I am allowed to do so from India. My L1A Visa and Petition would be valid for next 12 months. Will I get legally paid for this time?
