Business travel and DS160 update

I have an L1A appointment in October 2022. I had submitted ds160 in June 2022. Now I need to travel to usa for a few business meetings in September 2022 on my B1/B2 visa. Do I need to update ds160 before my L1A appointment with this travel info? My attorney is saying not needed. Wanted to know if anyone of you has seen such a case and can weigh in.

If I understood your situation correctly. DS160 need to be accurate on the date it was submitted - which you have right now. So as your attorney said it is not needed to update it.
