Applied dropbox for L2 blanket instead of L2 Individual

Hi, I entered US in Jan 2020 on L1 Blanket visa along with my family who traveled on L2 Blanket visas. My L1 visa extension is approved in August 2022 which is now approved as L1 INDIVIDUAL. we applied for dropbox for my wife and kid based on my L1 extension. I stayed in US. We scheduled dropbox for my wife and kid in L2 BLANKET visa class instead of L2 individual as I was not aware of my visa class change from blanket to Individual upon my extension.
On Sep 1st 2022, in the dropbox appointment, the dropbox staff first did not accept documentation as we applied for wrong visa class, but later accepted the documentation. Along With the documentation they asked my wife to write a letter stating husband is in US and they are stuck in India and requesting to approve visa.

visa status is still in Application received status. Can anyone please let me know if you are aware of this type of scenario? Or guide me.

Hi, My Wife and Kid’s L2 visa was approved. My friend was also in similar situation, his wife’s L2 visa was also approved.
