Working for Indian Company on L2 EAD

Hi, My wife's L1 visa is being processed now. If I go to USA as a dependent visa and apply for EAD, will I be able to work for my current employer, if they agree to pay me in my USA bank account?

L2 spouses can work without needing EAD. Income from work you do while in the US is subject to US taxes; your company will need to be able to withhold US taxes for you.
