Hi all, I am applying for an L visa for a 20 day trip at the end of the year. I have a new Zealand passport.
I am going over to meet my partners family and stay at their home for a week. I also plan to travel around China.
I noted that for a tourist visa, I have to have itinerary and hotel reservation OR letter of invitation.
If I got a letter of invitation VidMate, would my partner who is a permanent resident of new Zealand apply to invite me or would it be her parents.
And if I go through this route, how detailed do I need my itinerary to be? It is enough to say I'm going to visit them and may travel around, or do I need to say what cities. or do I need to say what cities, when, with booking for transportation and hotels everywhere I go in advance?
My partner haven't settled on where we are going to travel and were planning on doing a lot of the booking when we arrived but that does not seem congruent with the application.
