Hello,
I am on a L1B visa and working from a state (State A) on the east coast. My husband has managed to finally find a job after months and months of trying but it is located in another state (State B). He's willing to fly back and forth for a few months, but that will be difficult to continue for long. He is going to try and ask his manager for remote work approval once he settles in the role, but if that does not work, I wanted to know if we can move to State B on L1B?
My employer DOES NOT have an office in State B (there was one but it closed after the pandemic), but they do have offices in a lot of other states throughout the US.
Trying to understand if we can still move to state B on L1B, and if yes, is petition amendment needed?
