Is it safe to withdraw L1B after RFE questioning my specialized knowledge?

My company had filed for L1B Amendment under PP to include client travel in the I129S but I got a RFE questioning my specialized knowledge. My problem is that I have exited my Abroad company on bad terms and they are not co-operating in providing me any documentation whatsoever even after US company's request. What options do I have in such a situation?
