  • L2-I-94 Date Mismatch.

    Need your valuable suggessions here

When I entered USA first time on L1 visa, got I-94 till 12/25/2006.
My wife joined(L2 visa) me after 4 months and got her I-94 till 12/21/2006

My employer applied for L1 and L2 extensions before our 1-94 cards expired.

USCIS approved our extensions, my new I-94 card has start date was 12/26/2006, which is correct, but my wife new I-94 card also has 12/26/2006, which is incorrect..right? it suppose to be 12/22/2006..right?

    Please advise

Is this date mismatch affect GC process if my employer apply for GC in future??

    Greatly appreciate your help!!

That is right. Your date and her date would be the same, 12/26/2006.

I am not sure why she got her I-94 till 12/21/2006 in the first place anyway. Can you explain?

      L2-I-94 Date Mismatch

Her visa expiration date given on visa was 12/21/2006, Petition expiration date on visa was 12/21/2006, she got her I-94 till 12/21/2006.

My(primary) visa expiration date given on visa was 12/21/2006, petition expiration date on visa was 12/26/2006, some reason i got my I-94 till 06/20/2008. But my employer applied for extension before my petition expires(that was before 12/26/2006)

Please advise if this impact my or her GC process if my employer applies for GC in future

I think you are confusing between Visa expiry and petition expiry. There is no such thing as L2 petition. Any change or extension of status approval for L2 ends when the L2 spouse leaves the US and must show L1's petition when they return.
I do not think 5 days is a big deal in future.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.

Thank you very much for your response!!
sorry for the confusion. Let me tell you clearly:

There is PED(Petition End Date) date printed right side bottom on L1/L2 visa. this date is same as validity date of Petition.

My L1 Petition end date 12/25/2006, when my wife went for L2 visa interview she took copy of my petition, visa. she got her visa, but PED printed on her visa was 12/21/2006 instead of 12/25/2006. she got her I-94 till 12/21/2006 when she came to USA.

Before expiring my petition, my employer applied extension for both of us. extensions were approved and got new L1,L2 petitions, I-94 and they have extension start date printed as 12/26/2006, which is correct in my case, in my wife case shouldn't be 12/22/226? but they have given her also from 12/26/2006. i am concorned about period(4 days) 12/22-12/25.

Is this impact our GC process if my employer apply for GC in future for both of us??

It should not be a problem.
