Hi All,
Im badly in need of advice, please help.
I was in USA(CA) for an year on L1B visa.
There was a red stop ticket issued on my name ($300 fine) which I was not aware. The ticket was issued for the April month 2008, this ticket was sent to a wrong address( mistake in the apt number). So it never reached me. It was sent from the court.
I came back to India in July 2008 for good. As I was not aware and could not pay the fine there was a civil assesment ticket sent with $300 as a penalty. And unfortunatley this was sent to the same wrong address. In Sep 2008, one of my friend who was staying in the same building got the second tickect and forworded me the scan copy of it. But it was too late as the DMV had sent a driver license suspension order and this time the address was correct (it was sent by DMV). I havnt paid the fine yet.
Now I have my L1B interview shortly. And need answers to the following questions. Please help me.
1. Will there be any problem while processing the L1B visa?
2. In DS-230 form I have specified my SSN number,will the consulate here in India trace it out
3. will my visa be rejected?
4.Im looking forward to pay the fine of $300 to the court online, but where do I pay the civil assesment fine? Im not aware as where to pay it.
5. And how can I lift the driver license suspension order
6. Does any one know a reasonable traffic attorney in the bay area who can help me in this?
