Resignation complications on L1

Hi,

I Would like to know one more thing..

Did anyone resign job in infosys on L1 ?

If i resign in US on L1, will they call back to india ? Will they give exp/relieving letter ?


I'm planning to move L1 to H1b Cos and my new employer is ready to do.
But I'm thinking about the resignation complications


Please suggest me, whay should i do? Reply ASAP.

There are complications regarding when your H1 status become valid(Not before Oct 1 unless you have had H1 before) and when your current I-94 expires.
From my understanding you will need to maintain L1 status until Sep 30 and must move to H1 employer from Oct 1.
Consult an experienced attorney.
