  • L2 visa (SOS)

Should I apply for L2 in UK or in India? I'm India passport holder and currently in UK with a work visa. My husband is British, we got married just before he moved to USA with L1, our plan was that I stay in UK to complete my work contract and join him later. Now I finished my work contract, but my UK work visa is going to exprie in 10days and I couldn't apply for spouse visa to extend my UK visa bcs my hubby is working in USA now, although he is a British (silly low), which means I need to leave UK in 10 days. The London USA Embassy wedsite said it takes 5 days to get a Non-immigration visa, for my case, if my L2 get done in 5 days (my UK visa has 10 valid days), things will be ok. but if it take longer than that, I might have big trouble (overstay in UK without a visa). Does anyone know if I am allowed to apply for L2 in UK with only 10 days valid UK visa? or do I have to go back India to apply for the L2? any advices are appreciated. thx lots.

It will be better if you apply in your home country.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.
