I-797 Visa appoinment

I have receipt number from I-797 form And my petition also aproved but not received hard copy for I-797 and I-129 yet Will take 2-3 days for courier. With receipt number mentioned in soft copy of I-797 can i take Visa appoinment ? Or should i wait to get hard copy of it.

Yes, you can. But in Mumbai and Hyderabad consulates, you have to submit some documents in advance. Make sure you receive the approval notice before that.
